My nephew Noah came over a while ago to just hang out with his cousins… I love it! To Noah it wasn’t really that big of a deal at all, he played some video games, shot the kids with nerf guns and just spent time with them. What he didn’t realize was the impact he made on Axel. When Noah left Axel was super sad and said, “I wish Noah was my brother” This is great! I love Noah and his heart for my kids. But this small act really changed the way Axel sees him.
I want to ask you a question and actually it’s really more for me because I have been struggling with it.
How have you made a difference in someone’s life lately? I know there are times that you will never know if you actually make a difference but are you trying to make a difference? Do you believe you can make a difference?
Let's as a church or small group or Sunday school class encourage each other to do this when we get together. Hebrews 10:25 says this… Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.
We know Jesus is coming back! Lets take the time that we do have and take our eyes off of ourselves and start looking at others! YOU can make a difference! We can all help out some way, we can all serve, we can all give, and we can all share Jesus! Be creative, encourage each other and let’s watch and see the crazy awesome things God does. IN CHRIST we CAN make a difference!
