I can’t help but to be excited by this vision statement that I delivered to the people of God at West Highland last Sunday. It really does give us our marching orders for years to come. If we were to over lay this vision onto every ministry team – every small group - every individual and if we were by God’s grace to live it out before the world. What would we look like in five or ten years from now? We would be:

A congregation that is careful to base all of what we do on scripture which is the word of God to his people.A Church driven with a burning desire that we be Connected to God.A worshiping community that is Centered in Christ who is the same yesterday today and forever. Hebrews 13:84. A holy (set apart) people that are empowered by the Spirit . SO THATThis Church cares, loves and serves others.”

SO THAT – as we care for others And show the love of God and minister to and serve those around us – we might by the leading of the holy spirit has point people to Jesus the light of the world SO THAT they can be connected to God and filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit – to care love and serve other.

I love this! This is our heart – this is our message –this I believe pleases God. Join with me as we bless or God with active service that bears good fruit. In John 4:35 Jesus said “Don't you have a saying, 'It's still four months until harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” What an opportunity – let’s do it -
