Relationships

In-laws are a fun topic to talk about because everyone has a different opinion. Some of you already stopped reading because you saw in-laws...I want everyone to know that I love my in-laws (so what if they are here today) it's still true. I like to thank them on occasion for raising the girl of my dreams...its kind of crazy to think about.   It's also crazy, I'm finding out, that people think it's weird I get a long so well with Laura's parents!! They are just so incredibly supportive!
There are a lot of relationships we have in our life some that are forced like family, some we choose like our best friends and others just seem to happen. Some relationships are very difficult because you have to work at it and people can once in a while be selfish and self centered (not you of course). Any way, relationships are important to Jesus!!  That means relationships should be important to us. We need to work at our relationships. We need to get along. We need to play well together. We are representing Jesus by the way we deal with our relationships. Do you have any relationships that need work? Are you working on them or avoiding them?? Let's take our relationships seriously no matter how difficult they may be.
Ephesians 4 says to make every effort to keep the unity...we need to take this serious!
Obviously our most important relationship is with God. Make sure that relationship is the best it can be first! All of your energy and love and peace to help you with others comes from God.
